Avondale, AZ- After three years at Alpha Prime Racing, Brennan Poole will fill in the vacant seat at Jordan Anderson Racing for 2027. He rounds out the driver lineup, joining Daniel Dye as the team’s two full-time drivers.

For Poole and team owner Jordan Anderson, this partnership comes full circle after the two raced against one another as kids. Now, Anderson sees Poole as an established veteran who can elevate the organization into a consistent playoff contender.

“The gap [in the [O’Reilly Auto Parts Series]  is closed, and it's getting to a point where the drivers are becoming more and more important every single year,” Anderson said. “The driver sets the tone, and Brennan will be a great cheerleader for our whole team. You know, he will really take it to the next level.”

Poole joins a race-winning organization that has long for playoff conversation. While none of its full-time drivers made the inaugural Chase field, the team helped Rajah Caruth, driver of the No.88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet, advance to the postseason with select starts in its No.32 Chevrolet.

The team last made the playoffs back in 2023, when Jeb Burton won his way into the postseason with a victory in the Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway.

“Also, looking at the announcement earlier this summer with Daniel Dye driving the No.32, Brennan and Daniel are going to be great teammates,” Anderson said. “I think Daniel's going to be able to lean on Brennan for some advice, some experience.”

As for the team’s final vacant seat, No. 27 will serve as the all-star car next season and will not field a full-time driver in 2027.

After fielding Blaine Perkins for one year and Burton for the last four seasons, this off-season marked the team's first major overhaul.

“You can't be somewhere forever, right? It's just sort of the natural progression of things, and I do this because I want to win,” Poole said. “I want to win races, and so I'm making this decision as an effort to go somewhere where I have access to sim, I have access to other data.”

In his last three seasons with Alpha Prime Racing, Poole established himself as a veteran who can produce phenomenal finishes with lackluster equipment, with best finishes of fourth at Martinsville and Charlotte in 2025. Even with the comfort of being the team’s longest-tenured driver, he made the move because of the opportunity to win at JAR.

“I'm here to win a race regardless of the circumstances,” Poole said. “It's my job to push my team and push my guys and the people around me to have that same belief. And we need to just continue to be the best person we can be: the best engineer, the best crew chief, the best interior guy, the best spotter.”

“I expect to just continue to grow as a race car driver and be the best race car driver I can be every week.”
