Dover, DE - The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series fired engines Saturday afternoon for the BetRivers 200 at Dover Motor Speedway. Ross Chastain led the field to green, with Brandon Jones alongside him.

The first caution of the day came out on lap 12. Brent Crews appeared to have an issue off of Turn 2. Jeb Burton and Parker Retzlaff both checked up after seeing Crews in the wall. Retzlaff hit Burton, and then Lavar Scott hit Retzlaff.

Brandon Jones would capture the win in Stage 1 after holding off Ross Chastain.

The second caution of the afternoon came during stage 2. Blaine Perkins would hit the wall and suffer serious damage to the right rear of his No. 31 Chevrolet.

Ross Chastain won Stage 2 after an intense battle with the No. 88 of Rajah Caruth. Chastain dominated stage 2, leading every lap to capture his 11th career stage win in the O’Reilly series.

Jesse Love and Rajah Caruth made contact on the first restart of the final stage, bringing out the caution. Rajah got loose and slid right into Jesse Love causing minor damage to the right rear of the No. 2 Chevrolet.

It wasn’t long until Rajah was caught in another incident. Harrison Burton seemed to have been struggling which backed him up to the 88 and then Sammy Smith took the air away from Rajah after a late entry into Turn 3.

After a battle for 2nd place, Taylor Gray spun, trying to stay off of the 9 of Ross Chastain exiting Turn 4. Gray would take a hard hit into the inside wall, Chastain would sustain damage to the right rear, and was forced to pit road.

Corey Day was able to run down Justin Allgaier and pick up his second career NASCAR O’Reilly Series win. Day was able to make the pass on Allgaier after a lapped car got in the way. Allgaier settled with a second place finish.
