Homestead, FL. — Homestead-Miami Speedway will once again serve as the home of NASCAR Championship Weekend in 2027, with all three national series set to crown their champions in South Florida from November 12–14.

Homestead-Miami Speedway President Guillermo Santa Cruz announced Tuesday that the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will compete on Friday, November 12, followed by the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series on Saturday, November 13, and the NASCAR Cup Series championship race on Sunday, November 14.

The announcement comes as Homestead prepares to host its first Championship Weekend since 2019. After an 18-year run as the championship venue from 2002 through 2019, the season finale moved to Phoenix Raceway from 2020 through 2025. The 2026 Championship Weekend will mark NASCAR’s return to Homestead before the track hosts the championship again in 2027.

The 2027 event will mark the 20th time Homestead-Miami Speedway has hosted NASCAR Championship Weekend.

The track is also undergoing a $20 million renovation project designed to enhance the fan experience ahead of its return to the championship spotlight in 2026. The improvements include a new primary gate entry experience, an expanded fan zone, a renovated Ally Champions Club, and additional aesthetic and operational upgrades.

The expanded fan zone will provide additional space for fan activations and food and beverage offerings, while the renovated Ally Champions Club will feature upgraded hospitality amenities, premium viewing opportunities, enhanced food and beverage options, and a modernized interior inspired by South Florida and championship racing.

With Championship Weekend returning to Homestead for back-to-back seasons, the speedway will once again become the center of NASCAR’s championship battle. The combination of the venue’s championship history and its ongoing improvements will provide a new backdrop for the sport’s season-ending celebration.
