Indianapolis, IN - The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series fired its engines Friday night for the TSport 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Layne Riggs led the field to green flag with his Front Row Motorsports teammate, Chandler Smith, alongside him on the front row.
Stage 1 ran caution-free as Layne Riggs picked up the stage win, the 14th of his career.
Layne Riggs swept the stages as Stage 2 also ran caution-free and Riggs earned another stage win.
The first non-stage caution of the night came on Lap 139. Daniel Hemric got into the back of Landen Lewis, sending Lewis into Turn 3 with nowhere to go and ending his night.
Layne Riggs dominated the evening, sweeping the stages and leading 198 laps. Riggs picked up his 5th win of the season and inches closer and closer to the regular season championship.
