Nashville, Tenn. — The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series fired its engines Friday night in the Music City for the Allegiance 200 at Nashville Superspeedway.

Qualifying was cancelled due to rain, Layne Riggs led the field to green, with Kaden Honeycutt alongside him on the front row, set by the NASCAR metric.

Stage 1 went caution-free, with Layne Riggs dominating the entire stage. Riggs captured his 4th stage win of the season.

The first caution of the night came out on Lap 56. Tyler Reif spun and hit the outside wall at the exit of Turn 4. Carson Ferguson brought out the 2nd caution of the night after getting loose in Turn 1, and wrecking, ending his night. Caution 3 came out on Lap 69 after a crash involving Jesse Love, Tanner Gray, and Jake Garcia. This resulted in massive damage to the No. 77, ending his night.

Layne Riggs captured another stage win, sweeping the stages, his 3rd time doing so in his career.

The first caution of the final stage came out with 32 to go. Kaden Honeycutt stalled at pit entrance after reporting a voltage issue. It was reported that the No. 11 Toyota had lost the alternator, draining the battery.

Layne Riggs made an impressive rally to capture Rajah Caruth and make a last lap pass and secure his third win of the season. What looked like back-to-back wins at Nashville for Rajah Caruth, ending up being a second place finish, after Layne Riggs on fresh tires sliced and diced his way through the field and into Victory Lane.
