Riley Herbst Signs a Multi-Year Deal with Legacy Motor Club

Charlotte, NC-  Coming just days after the announcement of the release of John Hunter Nemechek, Legacy Motor Club announces Riley Herbst will fill the third full time car they will debut beginning in 2027. He will be driving the No. 84 Toyota Camry. 


Co-Owner of Legacy Motor Club and 7 time NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Jimmie Johnson, shared that him and Herbst connected over their roots in off-road racing. He also reflected on the growth of Herbst as a driver and stated to “know what he is capable of.”


Monster Energy has been announced to remain as a primary sponsor with Riley Herbst. 2027 will mark Herbst’s 8th season with Monster Energy. Bel US will also continue to sponsor him on the No. 84. 


Legacy Motor Club remains to have one open seat on their 2027 full-time roster in the No. 42 following the release of John Hunter Nemechek. Josh Berry has been rumored as a front runner to complete the roster.
