It's official. Arrow-McLaren will look very different in 2027.
The organization announced Monday afternoon that six-time series champion Scott Dixon, the second winningest driver in NTT INDYCAR Series history, and Felix Rosenqvist, the defending Indianapolis 500 winner, will both join the Arrow-McLaren staple for the 2027 season, with both drivers signing multi-year contracts.
The duo will team up with Pato O'Ward and replace Nolan Siegel and Christian Lundgaard, who were both reportedly informed prior to Sunday's race at Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course to begin seeking other opportunities.
Meanwhile, the team also announced that Ryan Hunter-Reay will return next spring in the team's fourth entry at Indianapolis, maintaining his organizational role as "Sporting Director."
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, said in a statement "our INDYCAR team has shown fantastic momentum, and this lineup of Pato, Scott, Felix, and Ryan will strengthen every aspect of our program. We've got our eyes firmly set on the championship as well as winning the Indianapolis 500 to secure the Triple Crown in the Papaya era."
Former INDYCAR driver Tony Kanaan, who serves as Arrow-McLaren's Team Principal, further explained "it's never an easy decision, but when you have the opportunity to bring drivers of this caliber into your team, you take it seriously."
Scott Dixon departs Chip Ganassi Racing after 24 full-time seasons, while Felix Rosenqvist leaves Meyer-Shank after just three seasons, returning to the organization where he spent the prior three years.
Christian Lundgaard, who has won twice this season and finished second Sunday at Mid-Ohio, now finds himself on the open market. Lundgaard currently sits third in the standings, the highest of the three full-timers in Arrow-McLaren's 2026 stable.
