Dover, DE - The NASCAR Craftsman Series returned to Dover Speedway on Friday evening, The field was packed with heavy hitters with entries from Clint Bowyer, Carson Hocevar, Kyle Busch, Ross Chastain, and Christopher Bell. Busch led the field to the green flag, while Stewart Friesen was sent to the rear for unapproved changes.
Kyle Busch held his starting position throughout the stage until a caution was thrown for Dynasty Spurlock crashing on the backstretch. After restarting fourth from pitting, Kyle Busch quickly regained the lead to collect his first stage win of 2026. Daniel Hemric was able to return to the track after going behind the wall at Lap 28 with fuel pressure issues.
A clean Stage Two allows Busch to extend his lead for another stage win. His success in this race also marked over 1,000 laps led by Busch at Dover Motor Speedway in the trucks. Kyle is the first Craftsman Truck Series driver to accomplish this feat at any track.
Ross Chastain was able to leave the pits first at the stage break to begin the final stage out front. He reached a 0.58 second lead over Busch prior to a caution coming out on Lap 118 as Luke Balwin spins in Turn 4. The restart presented a tight battle between Busch and Chastain for the lead prior to a spin by Mini Tyrell brought the next caution. During the final restart, it took Busch just eight laps prior to taking the lead as Chastain faded on older tires. Busch continued to surge before he took the checkered flag with a lead over three seconds ahead of Ty Majeski.
With this win, Kyle Busch expanded his win streak to four in a row for his starts at Dover Motor Speedway in the Craftsman Truck Series. He hopes to continue this speed into Sunday for the NASCAR Cup Series All Star Race.
