Ryan Sieg captures first O’Reilly Series win at Daytona!

The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series returned to the high-banking of Daytona International Speedway Friday night for the Winn-Dixie 250.

Rajah Caruth started on the pole with Carson Kvapil alongside him on the front row. 

Stage 1 came to a close after Patrick Staropoli spun and collected Daniel Dye, Sam Mayer, and Brent Crews. This is the first time the new rule has been implemented,  which states that a caution within 10 laps to go until the end of the stage, ends the stage. Austin Hill picked up the green-white checkered. 

The second caution of the night came on Lap 44. Corey Day got turned, which collected Sammy Smith, and William Sawalich. Sawalich who is on the chase bubble, his chase hopes are over. 

Rajah Caruth picked up the Stage 2 win after it ended under caution after Austin Hill was turned and spun around several times.

Another caution came out with 3 to go after Rajah Caruth was turned on the backstretch. Rajah was trying his best to get a run on Kvapil, the leader, with Justin Allgaier but unfortunately he got squirrely and his night was over. 

Ryan Sieg was able to hold off the rest of the field for his first career win in the O’Reilly Auto Parts series. Sieg wins his first race in the O’Reilly series after his 424th start.
