As the 2027 NTT INDYCAR Series driver lineup continues to take shape, so too does the schedule.
Per a Wednesday morning release, the series has finalized and publicized 'phase one' of next season's calendar, which is quite similar to this year.
The new campaign will begin on the Streets of St. Petersburg on March 7, followed by another doubleheader weekend with NASCAR at Phoenix Raceway. Following that, the series will head to the Lone Star State for the second annual Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, marking three consecutive weekends of racing in March.
After an off week, INDYCAR action will return to two staples of the circuit in April, visiting Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama on April 4, followed by the Streets of Long Beach on April 18.
The 'Month of May' will then ensue, with the Sonsio Grand Prix on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on May 15 preceding Indianapolis 500 qualifying May 22-23, and the 111th installment of the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing" on May 30.
Finally, series officials confirmed that the Detroit street race will once again return the weekend following the Indianapolis 500.
“We are pleased to confirm Phase One of next year’s championship alongside another accelerated start with races in St. Petersburg, Phoenix and Arlington," Penske Entertaiment Corp. CEO Mark Miles explained. "2026 has been proof of concept that our sport is fueled by an expanding presence across marquee events and destinations, and we look forward to carrying that momentum into 2027.”
